  1. Cat,
It's making little changes like this that make a big difference. I remember when I first took a sales job that had me on the road a lot, it didn't take long to figure out where those extra pounds suddenly came from. Love fries, but don't want 'em on my thighs!

  2. Cat, you've really put your finger on the main things that cause the problems in restaurant food.  I really enjoyed how you simplified this and made it easy for anyone to keep in mind as they eat out while traveling.

  3. I happen to love frech fries…and they were on the list, right where they belong. Food is so simple and so complicated! Thanks for the great info and reminder about the french fries! Love all of your great info!

  4. hmmm does that mean I can't eat fries? LOL We almost never eat out, so when we do, I have to admit, I am going for the fries, my treat. LOL But that is not my normal diet. Great advice! Thanks

  5. Great advice especially for parents…your tips are a great compromise when kids want to go to the fast food places with their friends! Thanks!

  6. Cat,
Love this article and the link. I was shocked last week in TX at a burger place while visiting my daughter.  She  bought and brought our 6 year old granddaughter junk lunch as Mike may see it.  Got her the burgers, fries, etc. and called them afterwards to see how the fries were made. Shocked: peanut oil.  I didn't even dare bending to try those made in this type of oil.  How many kids are allergic to peanuts? Yikes. Glad I called. Daughter thought I was nuts, but I am working to stay healthy as I can be.
